Some projects have a live of their own. They are neither intentional, nor have they been planned – they evolve from the body of work that one creates, show themselves as a pattern, and maybe one starts to see them.
Sees I have been drawn to trees and groups of trees over and over again, so it is time to acknowledge the pattern and bring together the work … in this case the wood work.

Fangorn was captured during a holiday in Dorset, near Swanage.

Willow stands in Berlin in the Russian memorial near Treptower Park

The Big Old Tree is located in Wales, near Bala (Snowdonia), captured during an afternoon stroll.

The Porlock Dead Trees stand – well – near Porlock (Exmoor) in marshes that have been flooded with salt water.

Fallen fell in Exmoor, near the coast path.

Tommy Woods is quite an impressive woodland area in Kerry (Ireland), near Lough Leane. Lots of trees with character there …

In Germany, we have lots of wood and also occasionally mist … Woods in Mist is just 500m away from where I live.

1000 years old yew tree in Muckrose Abbey … what an impressive tree, Ireland, near Killarney.
