Some Talk About Gear

/

Being in Ireland and finally having some more time to actually photograph more (pictures to follow once I have processed the RAW files) here some talk about gear (gear that I found particularly helpful).

Being a landscape photographer, you sometimes have to walk some distance, so a fully fledged photography backpack might come in handy (see my article on the Mindshift Rotation). On vacation with family, this however might also look a little bit „overcooked“ if you just drive around and walk smaller distances.

I came across a nice bag that is quite suitable for my Fujifilm mirrorless gear in terms of size – the Compagnon Camera Sling Back (in my case the 7l size).

The Compagnon 7l Sling back

With this bag, I can take along the camera, two lenses, the filter holder with filters and a tripod + batteries, water bottle and a snack. The bag is robust, nice to configure and even after hours of walking (which I never intended in the first place) it is still nice to carry along.

I actually left my „big gun“, the photo backpack at home all the time and just got along with this little fellow.
